Eduardo Gil was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

He graduated as Comercial Pilot. Previously obtain a degree in Meteorology and then studied Sociology at the University of Buenos Aires.
Since 1976, he dedicated exclusively to photography as an artistic and professional activity.
He has showed his work in over 200 group exhibitions all over the world and has had one-person exhibitions in Latin America, Europe, EEUU and Australia.
He has very active as a teacher in public institutions like the University of Buenos Aires School of Psychology and the Association for the Promotion of Fine Arts.
Curator since 1986 at institutions like the Recoleta Cultural Center of the Municipality of Buenos aires, the permanent Photo Gallery at the Museum of Plastic Arts of Chivilcoy´s city in Argentina, etc.
He currently resides and works in Buenos Aires.
